¡¡¡¡At the invitation of Professor Zeng Chunyu, Professor Wang Dan from Georgetown University, and Research Professor Tuo Jingsheng from NIH visited Department of Cardiology in Daping Hospital, the Third Military Medical University. Professor Wang Dan is a scientist working in the Department of Nephrology in Gerogetown University, who is good at the arterial functional study. More than 20 papers has been published in the journals with high-impact factors, including Circulation Research, Hypertension, Journal of American Society of Nephrology. Both professors gave lectures in Daping Hospital. Research Professor Tuo¡¯s topics are ¡°From Genetic Epidemiological Study to Drug Sreening for Age Related Macular Degeneration¡± and ¡°General Consideration of Data Presentation and Statistical Analysis¡±; Professor Wang¡¯s topic is ¡°Thromboxane-prostanoid Receptors Mediate Enhanced Contractility of Resistance Vessels in Angiotensin-induced Hypertension: Role of Oxidative Stress¡±. During the four-day visiting, Professor Wang Dan also showed how to do the arterial function study, and discussed the further collaboration with Professor Zeng Chunyu on the hypertension research project.
