At the invitation of Shi Yuan, director of department of pediatrics, Professor Speer visited our department to carry out academic exchange on the morning of June, 20th, 2009. Escorted by our medical staff, Professor Speer made a tour of NICU, and visited the teaching field for rescuing several critical pediatric patients, on whom he exchanged opinions with our director. Besides, he shared his experiences with young doctors in pediatrics in research and clinics respects. Meanwhile, he highly praised our NICU management and technologies and also gave suggestions on it.
