¡¡¡¡Department of Cardiovascular Surgery was founded by the famous cardiothoracic surgeon, Professor Fan Shi-zhi, in 1990¡¯s. With nearly two decades development it has been a famous cardiovascular center, combining research, education and clinical practice, which can provide innovative and scientific treatments for heart diseases.
¡¡¡¡As one of most experienced cardiac surgery groups, our department cares for patients from all over China. We offer many types of cardiac surgery, including elective or emergency surgery for congenital heart diseases, valve diseases, aortic aneurysm, coronary artery diseases, arrhythmias, heart failure, local advanced lung cancer and other rare diseases. It has been demonstrated that the clinical outcomes are satisfactory since we apply the newest and advanced equipments, devices and surgical techniques, including minimally invasive surgery, off-pump bypass, thoracoscope-assisted, percutaneous procedures and hybrid surgery.
