Department of Medical Engineering
Department of Medical Engineering was founded on Jan, 1986, named primitively Department of Equipment and Material which was renamed as Department of Medical Engineering on Jul, 2009 for acclimatizing itself to the developing trend of the clinical medical engineering both at home and abroad according to the instruction of leading cadres of hospital and research institute. There are 69 staffs now, including 4 servicemen，5 Reemploy staffs, 10 employees and 50 people on contract. The Purchase & Supplying Group, Central Sterile Supply Department, Equipment Maintenance Group, Quality Control Group and Experimental Animal Center etc. are included in this department which takes on the work of purchasing of equipments and devices, sterilizations, supply, maintenance, equipment discarding process, medical metrology & quality control, breeding of medical experimental animals and support etc.
